How Liberty Tutors works
Liberty Tutors has two parts. The guides are free and open: one for every graded written assignment in the Liberty courses we cover, built from Liberty's published course guides. The tutor desk is for when you want a person to look at your work.
1. Find your assignment
Search your course code on the courses page, open the course, and pick the week. Each assignment guide shows the points, the length, the source rule and whether a faith integration is required, then a method, a structure with word targets, a model paragraph and a checklist.
2. Ask a tutor
Open the chat or send the form on any page with your course, week and question. A tutor who knows that course replies, usually within the hour during the day (Eastern Time). Tell us what you have so far; a draft, an outline or just the prompt are all fine.
3. Get feedback you can use
What a tutor can do:
- Read your draft against the rubric and tell you what to fix first.
- Help you narrow a topic or a research question that will last through a multi-part assignment.
- Walk you through APA, a statistics step, or how to integrate a biblical principle.
- Write a model on a different topic so you can see the moves, and explain them.
What it costs
The guides are free. Tutoring is quoted in the chat before anything starts, based on the course, the assignment and the time it needs, so you know the number before you decide.
Your privacy
We use your email only to reply to you. Your course work and messages are kept private and are never shared with anyone, including your school.
